The most common Ultra Purge grades used in the automotive industry are Ultra Purge P-O and Ultra Purge High-E.

Ultra Purge P-O is very efficient in cleaning the screws, barrels and hot runners during color changes with PP. By using Ultra Purge P-O with this application, customers experience a 40 to 50% reduction in scrap and a 60 to 80% reduction in down time.

Ultra Purge High-E is designed to clean PC/ABS as well as PC and PMMA. This grade is normally used with material changes from PC/ABS to PP as well as for removal of carbon contaminations when producing clear parts such as light lenses.
